Magnificare was founded from a place of heart, faith, and lifelong dedication. At the center of it all is Ryan Mendoza—the man whose mission for more than two decades has been simple and unwavering: to care for people with dignity, compassion, and genuine human connection.

Ryan entered the home care field in 2001, beginning his journey as a hands-on caregiver. Over the years, he has supported countless families across every kind of dynamic—guiding some through the simplest decisions and others through deeply complex care needs. Whether helping someone understand their home care options or coordinating care for a loved one with multiple medical challenges, Ryan has always approached every situation with patience, clarity, and heart.

His experience is unique. Ryan has served both as a caregiver and as a case manager, giving him a 360-degree understanding of home care. His years of direct service shaped a philosophy rooted in respect, trust, and authentic presence—values that continue to define Magnificare today.

To deepen his lifelong commitment, Ryan is currently attending California State University, Fullerton, where he is pursuing his Master of Science in Gerontology. For him, this is more than a degree—it is a full-circle moment. Since 2001, he has devoted his life to understanding older adults’ bio-psychosocial and spiritual needs, advocating for them, raising awareness, and supporting public policies that protect and empower them.

Ryan’s dedication goes far beyond serving clients—he also advocates fiercely for caregivers, the frontline heroes who make compassionate home care possible. Many of Magnificare’s caregivers dream of becoming registered nurses or advancing their careers in healthcare, and Ryan takes pride in mentoring, supporting, and guiding them on their professional journeys. At Magnificare, caring extends not only to the families we serve, but also to the caregivers who serve alongside us.

Ryan is also deeply woven into the fabric of the community. He is an active parishioner at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Placentia. He is a volunteer at Providence St. Jude Medical Center, offering support to patients through spiritual care. Beyond his parish involvement and volunteer work, he is a proud member of the Santiago Catholic Business Club, First Friday Friars, Filipino-American Chamber of Commerce of Orange County (FACCOC) and the Knights of Columbus. Ryan also serves as the newly elected Secretary of the Board for the North Orange County Senior Collaborative (NOCSC), continuing his mission of advocacy and service within the community he loves.

His passions run deep—Alzheimer’s and dementia care, fall prevention, cancer support, and caring for veterans are causes he carries close to his heart. These aren’t just specialties; they are personal commitments that guide every decision made at Magnificare.

Magnificare is not just Ryan’s vision—it is a family journey. Ryan and his wife, Amy, run Magnificare together as a truly homegrown, local, family-owned business proudly serving Orange County and Los Angeles County. Their purpose is simple:

To provide exceptional, heart-centered care that honors every individual and brings peace, comfort, and confidence to every family.

This is our story—rooted in compassion, strengthened by experience, and devoted to making every day a little more magnificent for the people we serve.
