By 2034, older adults will outnumber children in the U.S.
According to the U.S. Census Bureau, by 2034, there will be more adults aged 65+ than children under 18 for the first time in American history. AARP reports that 10,000 Americans turn 65 every day, while the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) projects a rapid rise in the 65+ workforce.
